Bill McGee – Grazing in the Grass

Bill McGee covered Hugh Masekela’s piece as a “smooth” flugelhorn solo. And then I covered Bill’s work…

David Brent, The Office.

I fattened-out David’s band “Foregone Conclusion” for a bit of fun…

Lenny Kravitz – It Ain’t Over Til It’s Over

The trumpets and other horns play a pretty routine line at the end of the song. Instead of transcribing 3 minutes 19 seconds of rest for you and me to count, this chart is limited to those lines at the end of the song.

Hunters & Collectors – Stuck On You

Another favorite song played in tribute to Hunters & Collectors, this one featuring violin. H&C includes a brass section consisting of trumpet, French horn, and trombone. I wrote the French horn part to be played on flugelhorn. I was able to make good use of resources from the H&C website “True Believers” http://humanfrailty.com.au/.

Very happy with the way this collab worked out!
